Peter Winer is an Engineering Leader who has spent the past 25+ years in Silicon Valley, building effective engineering organizations and shipping breakthrough products.

In 2016, Peter moved from Silicon Valley to London and transitioned to consulting as a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for early-stage European companies. Peter focuses on expanding teams, improving efficiency, elevating Agile best practices, and aligning software engineering with business objectives. All engagements conclude with a succession strategy focused on sustained, permanent benefits for his clients.

Peter’s prior experience includes technology leadership in companies funded by Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia Ventures and Bessemer Venture Partners. He was a founder, and team leader in companies acquired by Symantec, VMWare and Cisco Systems. He has provided technical due diligence advice in support of investments for Allen & Co, Lightspeed Ventures, Advanstar Communications and Mayfield Fund. He has personally developed system software licensed to Apple. He has invented and patented user experience features in wide usage today.
